Since re-opening in 2007, Little Lambs has built up a strong team of staff which currently numbers 25. To be able to work with children, coping with all the challenges it presents, staff have to be special. We are regularly complemented on our staffs gentle and friendly approach with both children and parents.

The Nursery is owned by Sam and Rich Maitland-Price.

Sam is the Nursery Proprietor / Manager 

Sam has over 10 years experience. Sam has also had the opportunity and experience of working in many childcare settings such as local schools, various day nurseries, nannying and creches. During 2002 qualified for Diploma in Childcare and Education and in 2005 graduated from university with BA (Hons) in Childhood studies. Sam also trained for NVQ Level 4 during 2008.  Sam has two daughters, Olivia and Penelope who both enjoy attending Little Lambs with her.

Emma is the Nursery Supervisor 

Emma qualified her CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child care and Education in 2011 and Also Level 5 Qualified. Emma Came to work with us within our Fun Club in Bodelwyddan in September 2012. Emma took on the Supervisor position in April 2013. Emma has a daughter, Eva who attends our Fun club in Bodelwyddan

Laura is the Nursery Supervisor 

Laura has been with us at Little Lambs since April 2009. Laura qualified in her CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child care and Education in 2008 and Level 5. Laura took on the Supervisor position in April 2013, She continues to work with our Pre-School. Laura completed her Degree in Welsh in December 2012.

All staff attend regular in-house and recognised training updating their knowledge all the time. First Aid, Child Protection, Food Hygiene, Health & Safety are just a few of the courses the staff attend, with them regularly being updated as and when needed. All of our staff are fully police checked.

Good links with local colleges enables the nursery to participate sharing our good work practice with students of childcare, whose work in Little Lambs is always supervised and monitored. No student will ever be left alone with a child or group.
